The Prophesied One
Written by: Jzedan Dormido
12/15/18
Under the hands of the Romans,
The Jews cried for deliverance.
Their suffering heart hold fast
To the prophecy told in the past.
A Deliverer is coming,
The promise they've been waiting.
A sign they were looking,
The coming of a Glorious King.
But not with a crown, nor with scepter,
He came down as a babe without splendor,
A manger for a throne,
Swaddling clothes for His royal robe.
One silent night, one holy night,
The Anointed One, all-powerful and might,
Became the Lamb of God to die,
A sacrifice for your sin and mine.

Special thanks to all those who voluntarily helped and participated in giving God praises and glory due unto His Name.
