I was holding her the whole time. Couldn't let her leave my sight. I whispered to her my words of love as I felt the pain in her eyes. She was fighting to stay. She tried as I held her tight till her very last.  It was a sudden goodbye.  The first time I saw her, I knew I wanted to keep her. It didn't take long for us to make a special bond. How she warmed my heart each time she would run to me with such excitement. I wanted to hold her just a bit longer. I wanted to call her name and see her adorable eyes open one last time. But it's time to let go. With every minute passing by, a loved one could be dying. Makes every second so precious. And after losing someone so dear comes the question, Have I done enough to show my love? I think of the lost souls who could have received eternal life but died without hearing about Him, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). I think of those who have lost all the will to live and chose to die without knowing Him, the glorious Hope
